How could ICAI keep an Exam on 17th Nov, Eid-ul-Azha?! The festival is one of the only two festivals of us Muslims celebrated worldwide and is really big! C'mon, this is really inconsiderate and unfair!!

sarfaraz, ICAI is not bothered about festivals etc.
i remembered when my PE-II exam was there in 2006, Eid (Ramzan Eid) had fallen before one day of the exam, at that time also i had the same complaint. but now atleast u can go for NAMAZ and then attend the exam. all the best and IDD MUBARAK..

For the records, this is a Public Holiday declared all over India. All schools, colleges and even engineering exams are deferred but NOT CA. Hail ICAI! Maybe thats an indication that the profession doesn't give regards to religious, ethical and moral values. They make us study ethics & all for the heck of it.
@ Priya, thx for the wishes
@ Azim, sailing in the same boat buddy
