Please tell me exactly how much leaves are allowed during articleship
and other rules relating to articleship.

If your articleship is of 3.5 years then you are allowed the leaves of 178 days.

What is the exact no. of leaves available for PE2 students, that is for articleship training of 3 years.

During the period of training, an articled / audit clerk is entitled for leave earned @ one-seventh of the actual period served, excluding from such period, the period for which he has been on leave.
For eg. in 3.5 years of training a person has taken leave of 8 months leave allowed would be
1260(3.5*12*30) - 240 (8*30) / 7 = 145
In this case leave allowed is 145 days but leave taken is 240 days so his articleship would be extened for a period of 95 days (240-145)

period of leave that can be taken is 1/6th of the actual period served, it differs from one student to another student

for every seven days of work one day leave will be given
