In punjab, if value of goods in consignment exceeds Rs 50000 but distance is merely 5 km whether eway bill required

Dear Anmol
Even though it's less then 5km , if it's send via Motorised conveyance & consignment value is 50k , Eway is mandatory.
THERE IS NO EXEMPTION OF DISTANCE IN EWAY RULE.
GSTR 9 and 9C for FY 23-24 as amended by Notification 12/2024 dated 10th July 2024(with recording)
