is e way bill required if there is a movement of fabric for some printing on the fabric? Example - vendor A bought fabric from vendor B and instructed B to give it to vendor C for printing. But vendor C will charge printing charges to vendor A. So is eway bill required when items move from B to c?
e-way bill is a document required to be carried by a person in charge of the conveyance carrying any consignment of goods of value exceeding fifty thousand rupees as mandated by the Government in terms of section 68 of the Goods and Services Tax Act read with rule 138 of the rules framed thereunder.
AS PER THE ABOVE BOLD TEXT AND WHEN WE GO THROUGH Specific transactions that do not require eway bill , IT CAN BE UNDERSTOOD THAT IT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A E-WAY BILL IF THE VALUE OF FABRIC EXCEEDS 50,000 RUPEES.
