Eway bill for private car as transport vehicle

can e way bill be generated for invoice value greater than 1 lakh by using own private car as a transport vehicle??

Yes E-Way Bill can be generated when you are using your own private car for transportation of goods.

As per Rule 138 of the CGST Rules 2017, E-way Bill is required to be be generated when the consignment value exceeds Rs. 50,000 and the goods are being moved in a Motorised Conveyance. So whether you use your own private car or hired truck is not the determining factor for generating eway bill. The main two determining factors is :

(1). Consignment Value should exceed Rs. 50,000, and
(2). Goods should be moved in a Motor Vehicle.

So you can generate eway bill. In PART A of FORM GST EWB-01, fillup your invoice details and in PART B fillup the details of your private car.
