EWAY BILL

my supplier suplying goods of
150000 who is only 2km far from my shop in maharastra. is it necessary to create e way bill
plz clarify

maharastra threshold limit 1 lakh ... you have to generate way bill...distance does nt matter

The e-way bill has been made mandatory at the time of delivery by the railways and job workers can also generate the bill in the case of inter-state movement of goods. Goods moved within a state did not need e-way bill for distances of up to 10 km. This has now been increased to 50 km, which will help smaller businesses.

Yes Eway is mandatory.
As per Notification 12/2018 CT & Rule 138 , if the movement of goods is via motorised conveyanve & the value exceeding 50k ( in Maharashtra its 1 lac)

the 50 km clause of within state is of sending of Material to Transporter place for further delivery .

As per Notification 12/2018 CT :

Provided also that where the goods are transported for a distance of upto fifty
kilometers within the State or Union territory from the place of business of the consignor to
the place of business of the transporter for further transportation, the supplier or the recipient,
or as the case may be, the transporter may not furnish the details of conveyance in Part B of
FORM GST EWB-01.

Hence its only in case if Its being delivered upto Transporter place only
