CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THE ENTRIES IN CASE OF EMPLOYEES STOCK OPTION PLAN.IN FEW EXAMPLES AT THE TIME WHEN OPTIONS WERE CANCELLED AFTER EXERCISE PERIOD GENERAL RESERVE IS CREDITED & SOMETIMES ESOP OUTSTANDING ACCOUNT IS CREDITED.......................WHY ?
TELL ME PLEASE

well when esop,s are not exercised then we have to cancel the loss that is why we have to t/f all the balance in general reserve a/c and i think we do not credit esop outstanding a/c well it is credited only when we exercise the right i hope it will help

piyush in some questions esop outstanding a/c is debited because at the time when year is ending we recognise the expense n in that case esop o/s is credited so 2 cancel the effect of that entry esop a/c is credited.
please tell me whch 1 is ryt ?
