Labour Contractor supplies 8 nos of labour to X Ltd for packaging services. Labour Contractor not regd with esic, but X Ltd. Regd. May X Ltd deduct 6.5% from the bill of pure labour charges? If so plz interprete the situation.

Are you registered under ESIC act?
If registered, ESIC applicable
If not registered but total employee more than 10 including contractual labour, you need to registration
