For ESIC is it calculated on the gross salary or basic salary ? The rate will be 6.5% and for EPF it is calculated on the basic salary. Do we need to file EPF & ESIC returns also? What is the registration process

Yes Esic total deductible %6.5 of gross salary

1.75 employee share and 4.75 is employer share...

Epf is on basic salary of employee..... And no return is filled from April 2012...

Registration of firm under ESIC and EPFO done online on both portals respectively

Also, When i did the epf payment i cannot download the challan. Can you tell from which site i will find the challan

Esic is calculated on gross salary.
The due date for payment of CHALLAN is 21 of the falling month

If CHALLAN is created, go on unified portal and make payment from there
