Esi and epf
please tell the basis computation of esi and epf. whether both are paid on gross salary or not.and also due date of filing of returns

dear yogesh.
pfwill be calculte on basic+da where as esic will be on gross salary. pf will be 12% both employee and employer where as esic employee 1.75% and employer 4.75% . due pf is 15th of every month and grace period 5 days for offilne payment. and esic 21st every month.
