i am facing the same problem with one of my system and in laptop but i resolved in my laptop by re installing java with updated version i.e. 7. and esure that your explored is not below the required version by IT dept.

1) first you unistall previous java versions

2) install the updated version from java site.

3) reboot your system

4) try...

hello,

Either may be the digital certificate u r uploading are not registered..or may be the PAN no. quoted at the time of uploading is different form that of PAN no. quoted for DSC..Thats the same prob what i faced in that i wrote different PAN in registering the DSc

deepali ji, i agree with you but the problem is while updating the dsc, the sign .pfx  box was showing error message.

May be java is not installed in ur system...
