If You select "YES" in the field, that means you are selecting to opt out from 115BAC and you wish to stay in Old Regime.
and with this, you can claim 80C, Standard deduction, HRA, House Prop Interest, Etc..
I've done this way and my return has been processed without any defaults.

If you will select "YES" in the field no, 93 of Sec 115BAC / 115BAC (1A), you will be able to punch negative value in home loan interest amount and the values in field of 80C and all other deductions. If you select "NO" in filed 93, you'll not be allowed to punch negative values and field of 80C will turn to be un-editable, and if you've punched any values in 80C earlier, same will disappear. |
