Most traders to involved Equity research and you can’t learn it overnight. You might need supervised training either in a seminar conducted or Business schools for the same by professionals.

A few tips though are you should study the company strategy, managerial prerogatives and then a financial analysis of the company of information available on them either from the Annual Reports or 10K, 10Q etc.; or web search.

There are many statistical approaches of regression correlation, growth through Wald or Brent methods, Capital Asset Pricing Model etc; which are employed in the analysis including financial ratio analysis which gives the true picture of the stocks and their value.

Don’t try to time the market, Invest only in front line stocks and try to become a long term investor this is the only way to gain wealth from stock market otherwise

Follow market reports of

Leading mutual funds.

This needs supervised training and cannot be explained simply.

Keep watch daily market and using formula to get research.
