Hello,
Can the employee also restrict his contribution to PF to 12 % of Rs.15000/- even if his Basic plus DA is above Rs.15000?
the way employer has the option to contribut total of 1800 per month towards EPF and EPS .
Thanks

Dear Ratan Sir,
A Related Query to above discussion, Can an employee approach to the PF Office for Exemption of PF from the Salary.
(If any Document) as such could be supporting for Non-deduction of PF From Employee.
Is there any such procedure from the Concern Department ? Please Guide Sir.

If your basic+Da exceeds Rs. 15000/- pm, and you have not been a member of PF earlier, you can give the declaration in writing in Form 11 to your employer for non-deduction of PF from your salary.

Dear Pavan
All employees who are getting salary (Basic + DA) not more than Rs 15000 employed in an establishment employing 20 employees and covered by EPF Act are required to be covered by the EPF. It is mandatory. The employer cannot exempt any employee. However, if an employee at the time of joining or at the time the EPF is made enforced to the company, is drawing salary (Basic + DA) more than Rs 15000, he can be excluded from coverage. There is no particular form for getting out of coverage but the registration form itself gives details of salary.
