sir please let me know how much gst is applicable on freight & how will we enter the same in our accounts do we have to make an entry on monthly basis for e.g if i have paid 10000 monthly freight on my purchases how will i make a tax entry in gst

10000 is total on one day or over entire month you have not mentioned if it is for entire then try to apportion equally per day basis or week basis
no need to pay GST under RCM if freight or other expenses are less than 5000 per day

RCM NOT COVERED UNDER 5000 LIMIT
if it on one day then GST @ 5 %will have to be calculated in self invoice then at least it can be taken as itc
RCM is covered for under 5000 see sec 9(4)
thanx sir 10000 is for entire month per day may be 2000
Nitin ji on 28june GST council had notified for 5000 exemption on sec 9(4)
