Enquiry about exemption of allowances from income tax

I am working in a private organization. My monthly salary is as follows:

Basic: 38000

House Rent Allowance : 19000

Leave Travel Allowance: 17100

Medical Reimbursement: 11400

Conveyance allowance: 9500

Gross salary: 95000

Please advise me which of the allowances are exempted from income tax and upto what limit in a year sothat I can deduct these from my salary for tax filing.

no need to calculate. your employer based on the information provided by you, will consider it in your form 16. if any other information, which is not a part of form 16, then you have to claim outside.

it is better to provide all information to employer to include all income and specifically deduction. if you claim anything outside the form 16, then dept may call the documents for the deduction claim outside form 16.
