Great suggestions given by other members.

I know one friend who came from rural Andhra after his 12th & went on to do Masters in English & German from EFLU. Bloody he speaks in public so confidently now.

My suggestion would be to surround yourself with English speaking friends who don't easily switch over to the vernacular. Other option is to respond ONLY in English so that your friends are forced to speak in English with you.

Next as Harshavardhan has said watch English movies first without subtitles & later with subtitles. You can compare this way your understanding!

Lastly do not use SMS language.

Remember it is not going to be easy at the start but hey, if it was easy everyone would have done it! wink

it is good to learn English.but its not essential to speak English.communicate yourself with full confidence.essence of communication is that your message should be delivered efficiently. mukesh

If you are hungry, you should not see the food, you must eat Similarly if want to speak English you must speak Initially people around you may laugh at you but that is the best way
