Whether HPL half pay leave encashed at the time of retirement taxable ?

Follow Form 16 alongwith annexure and check 26AS
Encashment of Leave salary up to 300 days (fully EL or Combination of EL with HPL) for Govt employees are fully exempted where as other than Govt employees more than Rs.3L are taxable whether it is with EL fully or EL with HPL combination, no matter.
