a company doesn't maintain
employees attendence records
and booking salary as per appointment letters
i have doubts
whether this violates, accounting norms
as per income tax act/ AS / any other law

No specific requirement under any law/act for maintenance of salary register. Company maintains it for internal control purpose and keeping trace on their cost for man power.
