Employee paid to employer-whether GST attracted

Dear forum, please clarify the below issue:

Employee has to give three months notice before leaving the company and failing which he has to pay Two months salary to the company as per the contract.
He left out the company in one month and paid Two months salary.

Query:

Whether GST will be attracted on the amount received by the company from the employee??
(say the amt: Rs.1.2 lac)
