I have done transaction for ELSS mutual fund on 29 or 30th march 2018 and next days are holidays
So in mutual fund statment the purchasing or allotment is shown of 2nd april 2018
So please guide should i claim this for deduction under 80c for FY 2017-18?
What is the payment receipt date by fund house? or physical application receipt date?
The payment deducted from my account on 29th March but the date shown in Mutual fund statement is 2nd april. So can i claim deduction in Fy 2017-18?
You can claim deduction only in FY 2018-19 ..
this is screen shot of mf statement , two answer here and both are opposite ?
Unless the fund house change your purchase date based on your bank statement, you cannot claim it on your bank transaction.....
