As u said that u clear u r group 2 in Nov 2010 exam it means u get u r result in jan'11 or after that so u r effective date of registration for articleship is accordingly.

so according to link u given u r last 12 month period of articleship is aroudn jan'2013 so u r final attampt due in may'2013

As You have started your articleship in august 10, your first attempt of ca-final is november 2012..all the best.

But only during last 6 months of articleship we can take up exam nu they have given in prospectus..

so accordingly i m eligible for May 2013 ly rite, Mr.Ketan Thakur???

"The candidate is advised in his own interest to satisfy himself/herself that he/she is re-registered immediately for training for the excess leave period if any, as on the date of filling up the examination form and before the commencement of examination (as applicable). In other words a candidate must have either completed the training or must be in service as on the first day of the month in which the examination is to be held and the balance period of training must not be more than twelve months including excess leave, if any. " as per icai notification.

that means if my articleship starts on 16/8/10 then in nov 2012 i have balance articleship period of 10.5 months which would not be excess of 12 months as mentioned above so i can give Nov 2012

But Mr.Prateek Jain, for PE-II alone this twelve month time period is applicable. For IPCC we can give our final attempt during last six months of articleship...

friend i m also confused...i also cleared my ipcc grp 1 in  may 2010...do v count 2.5 yrs frm the date of result of exam or articleship date or the exam attemp date??

plz help wen is my attempt?
