Last year my return was filed online by sum one now he is no more ,this time i want to fill my return by myself for the Current assessment year,i cannot get the password from him as last return filed by him. is there any way i can get the password, or i can create a new password,also they are asking about Secret question, i cannot get the email id filed at the time of return.
How I Will get my Password.
so how i can enter my login in income tax e-filling for my PAN.

Call to your nearest TIN Facilitation Centre they will help to you.

Click the option Forget pasword, then enter :
and submit.
By this process you can get the new password, no need to break the password.
The only stone is the secret question and answer which was entered during registration, if hit correctly you will be able to reset the new password.

You only need to enter ur last yr acknowledgement number and secret question is not needed. So, go from forget pw option and get it again without facing any difficulty.

dear members, if secret question was given in the return filling of AY 2009-10, then without the proper reply to the secret question, one cannot retrieve the password. one then has to take help of the IT CAll center.

very simple......if u have last year acknowlege no...then u have 2 enter on incometax...site....n u can change u r password

we cant retrieve the Password if we dont have answer to the secret question and last year efiling ack. no.
the only way is send email to efiling @ incometaxindia.gov.in requesting for the resetting of the password giving your PAN No , NAME, DOB etc.
they will reset the password within 24 hours. As i witnessed the same.

You can use the help of E-return Intermediary, one of which is info @ taxorigin.com.
