Enter "previous financial year end date" as 08-05-2009 and leave the "previous finance year start date" blank.

When i entered  the period of Profit and loss a/c as 08-05-2009 to 31-03-2010 the date  in current year appears as 08-05-2009 to 31-03-2010 date apperas and while in previous year date From coloumn is blank while in TO 07-05-2009 date is prefilled.

From column also you try 07-05-2009. May be it works.

It does not work.

Take the Profit & Loss for the period 09-05-2009 to 31-03-2010

Enter the Financial Year start date as 09-05-2009

then the previous year end date will be 08-05-2010 and also enter the previous financial year start date as 08-05-2009

In Form 23AC - for current year - 31/03/2010 and for prev year - just leave it blank ( all figures under this column should be zero)

In Form 23ACA- for current year Start date 08/05/2009 (i.e. date of incorporation)  and end date 31/03/2010

and for previous year - From coloumn must be  blank while in TO 07-05-2009 date will be  prefilled (all figures under this column must be ZERO)

It will work, I have done for so many companies. Also request you don't shift the starting date of accounting period from 8th May 2009 to 8th May 2009 that will be wrong.

I have uploaded the Form by filing Profit & Loss period as 09-05-2009 to 31-03-2010 and by entering the current Financial Year start date as 09-05-2009 , previous year end date as 08-05-2009 and entering the previous financial year start date as 08-05-2009.

It worked and form has been approved.
