we are conducting a conference
for which companies from india and also companies from outside India are sponsoring.
What is the effect of GST on sponsorship we get from the sponsors (company) ? if GST is applicable what is the rate of tax?

Effect of GST on sponsorship

Sponsorship is subject to RCM. you issue invoice to sponsors company without charge GST. sponsor company paid GST on your behalf RCM basis
As per Notification 13/2017 CT (R) cover under section 9(3), hence Receptient is liable pay GST on RCM
