My attempt is due in Nov 2012. Would this budget;s tax rates, whether direct or indirect, effect taxation course? I mean do i need to learn with new rates etc? or it would be applicable after that. thnks

Budget 2012 is apllicable for May 2013 exam. You need to study Budget 2011 for Nov 2012 exam.
Yes, for the current exams coming under present year, only the assessment year relevant to this to be covered. i.e. exams conducted from april'12 to mar'13, the assessment year 2012-13 should be considered.
