Dear Sir, We have paid the current month's ECR and at the time of payment we faced an error ''Awaiting Payment Confirmation from Bank''.
Then few times later I have verified it from View Locked Challan Status. I have many times verified it but it results as ''Unable to get transaction status from bank''. However, the payment was already deducted from the bank at the time of payment. Can I reject this transaction? Please suggest what to do.

Same issue since 07.11.2020. The payment is not getting verified by SBI although the amount has been deducted from my bank account. I have waited for three days now but no change. Even after trying to verify the payment in EPF portal, it is not getting verified. Please help if anyone is aware of the solutions. I have an option of rejecting the challan but what happens to the payment already made? Will it be credited back?

Hi,
We are also facing the same issue. ECR Amount was deducted from our bank account on 05-Nov-20. However, till date it is showing "Unable to get status from bank. " Only option available is to reject the transaction. But txn cannot be rejected as he amount has been deducted. We have even written mails to epfo and SBI, but no response has been received.
If anyone has a solution please suggest.

Hi,
Our payment got cleared after 6 days. Please write an email about the issue to employerfeedback @ epfindia.gov.in. Do not reject the transaction if amount has been deducted from your account. Keep all the supporting documents with you for future reference.

We are facing also same problem. Amount is debited from our account. Firsty when we go to verify the payment. Message generate that unable to access the transaction from bank. We waited for 24 hours...nd next day we faced the same problem.....nd after one an hour the status shown on epfo portal was 'PAYMENT FAILED'. Even We did not reject the transaction as payment has been debited from account. Bank said the transc. Is completed successfully from their side.... nd we did mail to epfo id which was share by mr. Sanjiv on CAclubindia......kindly suggest the advise what to do
