E-waybill time period for what purpose

While issuing e-waybill supplier place to destination place , the time period will appear in waybill, actually this is for what purpose, for movement of goods on road or upto the unloading period.

because, some officers came while unloading the material, your waybill time is expired, pay penalty like this.
