e-way Bill expired

If the transporter fails to extend the validity of eway bill can we generate a new eway bill? If yes Wat will be the from place and to place for the same?

yes in this case only transporter and who generate eway bill( consignee/consignor) can make eway bill (by entring old way bill number ) and update part B ( from place where eway bill expired and in to place ( destination)

what is process of Expired e-way bill will be re-valied

under circumstance of ‘exceptional nature and trans-shipment’, the transporter may extend the validity period after updating reason for the extension and the details in PART-B of FORM GST EWB-01.

This option is available for extension of e-way bill before 4 hours and after 4 hours of expiry of the validity. Here, transporter will enter the e-way bill number and enter the reason for the requesting the extension, from place (current place), approximate distance to travel and Part-B details. It may be noted that he cannot change the details of Part-A. He will get the extended validity based on the remaining distance to travel.

what if the e way bill has expired and 4 hour window for validity extension has also expired ? How to extend the validity in such a scenario ?

I have same problem our vehicle breakdown and eway bill expires

Now, what can i do

Is i have to generate new e-way bill for old invoice if yes

my sale will be double due to two eway bills for same invoice

Please provide some suggestions

What if vehicle got accident and Ewaybill also expired and now system is not allowing new on same invoice no , what is the solution vehicle is stucked on road can't move further due to eway bill expired?
