We updated Part A of e way bill but part B not updated now officer caught the conveyance.
what are all the consequence of non generation of valid E way Bill.
Is there any option to waive the penalty of Rs.10000 or tax sought to evade whichever is greater.

Yes As per Section 122 of the CGST Act, - A taxable person who transports any taxable goods without the cover of specified documents (eWay bill is one of the specified document) would be liable to a penalty of Rs.10,000/- or the tax sought to be evaded whichever is greater
