Is e-filing is mandatory for individul from the assessment year 2008-09?

WELL, NO SUCH AMENDMENT IN LAW. THOUGH IT CAN BE ON MEMORANDUM WITH FM.

In my opinion, e-filing of returns is not compulsory for individuals.
However, individuals who have a digital signature can do e-filing if they so desire.

Where ITR 2 forms for individuals will be available?Form No 16 should be filed or not
can anybody tell me that ITR2 or 3 forms which are downloaded from website or is it availbale in income tax free of cost? and what about other papers including form no16 which is filed along with it Please clarify
