E-filling of ER-1 - what is source document No.

We have also filled the Return acknowledgment No and date of fillling return in the place of source of dument in  ER1 returne.

But after 5 months excise suprintendend  called me and told us that we are trying to passed and ok it but there is showing error of the source document date not grater than to actual duty payment date.

and finaly he have to filled it cin no. and date
