e-Filing or Manual Filing of ITR

ITR 967 views 2 replies

Hye Folks,

I know one person who is a partner in one Partnership Firm. He wants to file ITR for his Firm. He was of the opinion to e-File the ITR.

However, I suggested him not to e-File the ITR & to file it manually. While giving this suggestion, some points came into my mind & thats why I gave him this suggestion.

First of all, in e-Filing you will have to send ITR-V copy to "Centralised Processing Centre" in Bangalore by ORDINARY POST only. Everybody knows the "CAPABILITY" of Post.

Secondly, e-Filing is very good option for those who are claiming Refund, but that person (Partner) is not claiming any Refund. He wants to file ITR within time only to carry forward his business loss.

Can anybody suggest me whether I told him right ????

Hey Yogesh u r right.

Right because u know the conditions for E-Filing but u  r wrong as u underestimating our postal service in some cases they fail but not always they fail to deliver at right time & right place When u do E-FILE it saves time.

Though u have to follow up till u get the acknowledgement via mail.

Final conclusion is Still itz always better to file manually..

Hye Kailash, Thnx for reply. But I would like to tell that "Underestimation" of Postal Service has come from experience. Anyway, Be Positive & lets hope for the best, Postal Service will be the best, but why take a chance especially when u r filing one of IMP document - ITR.
