Duty drawback taxability
Is Duty Drawback Recieved by an export house which exports under FTP scheme taxable under income tax act? State Reasons.

No, DDB is not taxable as it is not an income, neither is any tangible benefit arising to the assessee.The liability to pay Duty did not exist since the goods were not actually exported.
