Due date & procedure to submit form 15g to it department

Form 15g has to be signe dby Assessee in Triplicate, and 2 copies should be submitted within 7 days to Assessing Officer.

Delay in onward filing of 15g attracts penalty :

minimum Rs. 100 for everyday during which such failure to submit 15g continues, subject to a maximum of the amount of tax deductible.

But in Form 15G it is clearly mention that Form15G to be submitted in Duplicate.

Ans also please tell me the procedure to submit the Form 15G with Assessing Officer.
