Sir plz tell me one thing the aadhar card linking to pan card is compulsory before 31st july of 2017. I hear the news in newspaper nd television Because no any notification given to the IT department for that purpouse. Department freshly issued the notification but that notification say that quoting of aadhar card to filing of IT return not for linking, plz solve this

As per amendment in finance bill 2017, Aadhar card is required to be linked to PAN card by 31st December, 2017.

Yes, from 1st July, 2017 any ITR cannot be filled without quoting Aadhar number.
