Dear All,

My attempt is in May 14 and haven't started tutions for both DT and IDT. I would be grateful if somebody could tell me how to start off self study for both these subjects? Will reading Vinod Gupta and Bangar be enough or Tutions are required for each of these subjects?

If these two authors book can infuse confidence in you, then you don't require tuitions. Give a solid preparation and you can crack the examination with relative ease. Best of luck.

Thanks Satish Sir. But i wanted to know is 3 months (about 2.5 hrs a day) enough for finishing both DT and IDT atleast first time reading. And for DT which do you suggest Vinod Gupta or Manoharan? And for IDT i am confused between Vineet Sodhani and Bangar.

Mohit ji, many students are always in a dilemma when it comes to choosing the right text book. The million dollar Q is which is the right book ? For DT if you are yet to make a first reading, then it is better to study from T N Manoharan book and complement Vinod Gupta's only Summary module. For IDT Bangar is a good book, but requires lot more effort from your end to study meticulously from it, as the book is tad voluminous. At the end of the day, it boils down to how well and soon you grasp the concept and effectively answer them in your examination. Just be focussed on what ever material you have on hand and study religiously. Best of luck.
