Doubt regarding final examination, nov.2011 - urgent

Hi . . . !

any one can clear my doubt regarding attempt for CA Final Examinations.

My doubt is

1) i came to know that students who got registered for Final before October,2006 need to get RENEW their registration to give attempt in Nov. exams. I got Registered on June, 2006 for Final (I m PE II Back Ground) . . . Do i need to RENEW my registration ? If yes what is the Due Date for it ?

2) For applying Exam Application Online when i m entering my Registration No & my DOB it is saying as these two are not matching with their Record ? and do i need to get any new unique code for that ?

please clear my doubts as early as possible. Waiting for reply.

Dont worry!

ICAI has made such announcement but that announcement is put on hold till futher clarification.

Important Announcement for students of CA Final (Old) Course

Sub: Discontinuance of CA Final Examination under the old syllabus.

Students are hereby informed that the CA Final (Old) Course shall be discontinued with the holding of the November, 2010 examination. In other words, November, 2010 examination will be the last attempt available to Final (Old) students and no further extension shall be granted under any circumstances. Final (Old) syllabus students shall have to mandatorily switch over to the Final (New) syllabus after November, 2010 examination.

Students who have passed one of the Groups in Final (Old) examination will get Group-wise exemption in the Final (New) course Examination. Final (Old) students have an option to appear in the Final (New) examination in November, 2010 by switching over to Final (New) course by sending an application on plain paper to concerned Regional Office alongwith Demand Draft of Rs. 1,100/- (Rupees One thousand one hundred only) drawn in favour of “The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India”, payable at concerned Regional Office i.e. Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur, Delhi, as the case may be, towards cost of Final (New) Study material.

Dear Friend,

I have enquired in CA Chapter in this regard, they told me that it is not required to get renewed and also no need to pay any amount towards Conversion to New Syllabus as it automatically converts in to New Syllabus.
