how to solve a an unbalanced maximization problem ?
while finding the initial basic feasible solution
First we have to minimize it and then balance it ( or )balance it and then minimize ??

Balance it and then minimize.

Bcoz the dummy Row/Col (dummy source or application) has NIL profit..

in study material issued by ICAI
IF U CHECK the iilustration 3 and 6 in 11.20 and 11.28 page number
he solved question 3 by first miniminzing and then balancing
and question no 4 by first balancing and then miniminzing
IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE ?

If U solve Q No. 3 & 6 in reverse way (i.e. first balance & then minmise -- U will get the same result (Same Ans). So U can follow any of the two. But First Balancing & then minmising is more logical..
