Doubt- Exemption Rule

IPCC 1158 views 9 replies

I am an IPCC student..

I have doubt regarding exemption rule. Plz help me......

If i get Exemption in any one subject of IPCC group 1, what is the criteria for passing that group?

Say, i got exemption in Law with 60 marks. What should be my score to pass the group in next attempt.

Is it ?

LAW - 60 + (140 aggregate in 3 subjects) = 200 aggregate

or

LAW - 60 + (150 aggregate in 3 subjects) = 210 aggregate.

LAW - 60 + (140 aggregate in 3 subjects) = 200 aggregate

Case :1   LAW - 60 + (140 aggregate in 3 subjects) = 200 aggregate

Case : 2  LAW - 60 + (150 aggregate in 3 subjects) = 210 aggregate

In the above Case : 1 is correct.

best of luck.

Thanks.........

LAW-60+140 In aggregate in three remaining papers, provided you get at least 40 in each paper.

if u r in PCC, then IT and tax must be in the 2nd group, n according to that if u had already got exemption in info tech and tax, then now u only have "Cost and fm" left in that grp, and n ur case u have to simply score 40, just pass marks in cost to qualify for second group. total grp 2 marks will be (67+60+40), now its upto u ke u want to score only 40 or above that, both are acceptable

thanks for the reply, but my actual doubt is (40 for second group and 150 for second Group), OR (300-67-60=173) thank u

40 for Second group and 150 for first group..........

You can't deduct 67 and 60 from 300, because aggregate is required separately for both groups.

So, Second group = (150-67-60)
