Doubt about SIP training

Hi,

Is it mandatory to complete the SIP training before appearing for any one module this December?

What must we do in this SIP training?Is this theory oriented or we have to engage in various events or something like that?

You can write ur exams in this Dec by mentioning waiting SIP,but you need to have 7 days SIP certificute to entroll for ur proffesional progrmme once you clear ur executive.

Usually SIP programs consisting of two sessions of interactive topics including some subject oriented seminars in a day.For me,we have listening,communication,interview technics etc in interactive sessions and also some subject oriented topics like capital gain,ID Act,Company law etc.

Every candidate registered for the Executive Programme w.e.f. 01.09.2009 are compulsorily required to undergo seven days Student Induction Programme (SIP) within 6 months of registration. Regarding any query about SIP, students are advised to contact office of their respective Regional Council / Chapter. Alternatively, they may also call to Directorate of Training & Membership of institute on telephone no. 011-49343026/27/28.

Hiii,

I registered for executive programme in february 2011 and still now i didn't register for SIP programme we need to complete it before the Exam itself or after completing the exam we can go for the SIP program...???

hi jhansi,

it is mandatory to every student of executive level to go through the SIP............. it is up to u take the programme after or before the xam, every month Sip is conducted for one week most probably first or second week of the month..........but my suggestion to u is dat its better to take the programme before ur xam it ll really help u to create ur own strategy for further programmes like EDP,MSOP.........and going according to the rules prescribed by the institution is better to complete the course without difficulty............its just my opinion u can get more information by the website i.e. www.icsi.edu ..................all the best....
