21 August 2009I have taken a leave of 160 days.I am doing Articleship of 3 years.What is the excess leave i will have to work for?
Some say I can avail 156 days leave.However some say I can avail only 134 days leave {i.e.[(365+366+365 )-160] /7 = 134 }
Will it be just 4 days i.e. (160-156)or will it be 22 days i.e. (156-134)?
Please tell me.Its very urgent.
Mr.M u can avail a leave to the extent of one sixth of ur total period served.Suppose in ur case the total period of articles is 1095 i.e. 365*3.the leave calculation is as follows (1095-160)/6 i.e u can avail a leave of 156 days to avoid no extension..In ur case, u have taken an excess leave of 4 days.u can set it off with excess hours worked if any

u can take 1/6th of the period served as leave

Mr. manmohan can u please clarify and tell whether exam leave of 2 months is considered as working or not........???????
Coz as far as I know their is no such provision in the training guide.....
