can a company claim double depreciation, if work is done there in
two shifts

no available.. schedule II specifically mentions NESD i.e no extra shift depreciation

Schedule 2 of companies act mentions 50% extra depreciation for double shift as I read from net.. Is there any change in this?

yes schedule II provides so.. then u can claim fr sure :)
