Dear Ajit, the status of the company shows "Dormant" when nothing is done in the company means no changes in director, capital, charges, office etc and even no nil balance sheets are filed with the concerned departments. So now if you are planning to opt for starting the business, then i would give you the option to incorpoarte the new company instead of continuing the same as when when you will proceed for filing the returns, then there will approximately Government Fees of Rs. 28, 000 in respcet of ROC Filing Fees(this calculation is based on 7 year non-filing return and supposing the Authorised Capital is up to 5 lakh only). In addition to this you will have to pay for the balance sheets and annual accounts preparation for the last 7 year to the Auditor and for Annual Filing Fees with ROC to the CS or CA for filing the document and all it will cost you averge 35, 000. i.e. Total near about 65-70 k. Whereas incorporating a new company will cost you less after striking off the co. incorporaed in 2004.
