Under Part A of P&L section in ITR 3, in row 43, there is a section named "Donation". Is this different from 80G? What kind of donations can be shown here? If any donations made which are not covered in 80G can be shown here? Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

only that are covered under 80G need to be disclosed

If 80G is reported under 80G schedule, then what is the purpose of the Donation section separately in ITR3?

like we have TDS schedule where all TDS is reported and while calculated tax liability TDS is picked from TDS schedule,same thing happens for 80G as well

unless you enter donation in 80G schedule , no 80G deduction allowed and from business profit it will be disallowed
