Hiiiii All,
WE had sent plastic film scrap for conversion to another party. Does the conversion of plastic film into Tadpatri amounts to Manufacture for Excise? If yes, den how much duty is payable?

what is "tadpatri" ? and if the finish good is different than the materials used, and marketable then excise is leviable, certain exemptions are available depending on the principal manufacturer's excise status.
