Does icwai verify application for exemption in training

The exemption is mainly for eligibility to appear final exams for which 6 months of experience is necessary and after that for getting full fledged CMA membership for which 3 years is neceessary so the onus is on the student on both ocassion to prove that he meets the criteria. So if your friend has 6 months experience then after  he submits the documents and later leaves the job the institute does not care and again when he joins a new job he has to notify with relevant documents the change of training organization or maybe when he applies for full membership after finals.

ok.. Its just that he is finish his 3years in this summer in purchase dept and intends to do balance 6months. & unless he completes intermediate he does want to revel it to company. So no complusion to inform Institute till we write our final?

Dear Sid: Thank you for your reply. I have one question: Is training at a CA firm acceptable as ICWAI training? The partner in question is a qualified Cost accountant. However, the firm is a CA firm.

@ Vijay Kumar, the training exemption can be availed 1 month from the time of registration for intermediate so ur friend needs to apply for it immediately after joining inter so that his experience for whatever duration it may be is taken in to consideration and the remaining he needs to show to get membership after finals I hope you get my point. @ Aditya That is not valid. It has to be registered cost accountants firm or some company. If its a CA firm then it should be in its separate finance department and not CA articleship.
