normally no Excise on Baked and served food
However on waste of meat industry its applicable
Service tax is charged on AC resturents

unless the commodity is mentioned, how one can discuss? entire excise tariff can not be discussed in posts, so please provide some input of what you are preparing, and marketing pattern to discuss the issue in detail

it is into restaurant business. serves foods and beverages but does not serve alcohol.

resturents are not covered under Excise but applicable under service tax,
only air conditioned resturents are covered,
