Do we get different registration no for registering in execu

Hello,

I registered myself for CS executive programme a few days back online and i got my acknowlegement reciept mailed but with that i got a new registration no. I am confused about what to do with old registeration no and i can still login with old no for foundation programme but its not updating while the new registration no's account gets logged in and gets updated. So the question is do we have two registration at a time or we need to switch from old to new by some process??
