Do I need to post payment proof for Intimation u/s 143(1)

Hi CaClub expert !!

I received intimation u/s 143(1) viz demand for excess tax of Rs. 695.

I have made the payment online and received the challan Report (Challan No. ITNS 280) - proof of payment

Do I need to post to proof of payment to the IT dept?

If so, what address?

Do you recommend sending by Regd A.D. ?
